In Ref. , an operational cost model for a hybrid energy storage system considering the decay of lithium batteries during their life cycles was proposed to primarily minimize the operational cost and ES capacity, which enables the best matching of the ES and wind power systems.
The impact of the ESED on the determination of ES capacity is more obvious. Based on this feature, we established the ES peaking power correction model with the objective of minimizing the ESED and OCGR. A correction model of peak shaving power of ES with the objective of minimizing ESED and OCGR was established.
